Placing an Order
You can either place your order online through our e-store (www.gunasthebrand.com) or by simply emailing us with the product code of the bag you'd like to order at email@example.com. We will follow up with a phone call as soon as possible to process your payment. Please call our Toll free number 1-888-291-7899 and leave a message with our representative for the sales department and someone will get back to you in the next 48 hours. All orders are subject to written acceptance by GUNAS.Orders will be confirmed in writing, by e-mail. Once accepted, the order may not be changed or cancelled except as otherwise provided for in this Terms and Conditions or as required by applicable law.
Accordingly, GUNAS shall not be liable for any error or inaccuracy in the photographs or graphical representations of GUNAS products displayed on the Gunasthebrand.com website. Slight variations in color/lighting of the product may happen. We try to the best of our ability to display the colors and details online as close to the piece you will actually receive. If the customer has any questions about the products, they may contact the customer service department by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
GUNAS has the right to cancel any order placed by a customer with whom it has had a dispute concerning a prior order, or if GUNAS has reasonable ground to suspect that such customer has violated these Terms and Conditions, or is engaged in fraudulent or grey market activities. GUNAS also has the right to refuse orders exceeding either $3,000 or 5 units.
GUNAS reserves the right to change the assortment of items offered on the Gunasthebrand.com website from time to time without prior notice to the customer. GUNAS will not be liable if any product is out of stock or otherwise unavailable at the time of placing the order. In the circumstance that any item a customer selects becomes unavailable after confirmation of the order, the customer service unit will inform the customer by phone or e-mail as soon as possible and offer a complete refund if the item will not be restocked. In other cases buyer can request an adjustment to be made and have another style shipped by paying the balance, differential cost via Paypal to email@example.com
If your item is a "special order" please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. If your item is in stock it will be shipped out within the next 2-3 business days unless a request is made for quicker means of shipment. Special or pre-orders can only be cancelled within 3 days of placing the order. These are non-refundable.
Confirmation on orders
In order to process the order, the customer must click the 'complete purchase' option on their computer. Upon confirmation, the order will be submitted to GUNAS for processing and may not be changed or cancelled except as expressly provided in these terms and conditions or as required by applicable law.
If using Paypal, the buyer must return to the GUNAS website to complete transaction after checking out is completed on Paypal's Page.
GUNAS records evidence of all transactions between Gunas and its customers. In the event of a dispute between Gunas and one of its customers relating a transaction conducted on the website or via email, the data recorded by Gunas shall be treated as evidence of the details of the transaction. Buyer will receive a confirmation email with their order number as a confirmation once their order has been received. If an order is returned by the customer, applicable shipping fees (Domestic or International charges) will be deducted from the refund balance even if the order originally qualified for free shipping. Buyer is also responsible for shipping back the item at their own cost. Kindly note, all Clearance, Sale, Markdown items are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, replacement.
Prices & Payments
The prices of GUNAS products are indicated in U.S. dollars, excluding taxes and shipping costs. GUNAS charges state, county and local tax as required by applicable law.
GUNAS reserves the right to modify the price of products offered on the Gunasthebrand.com website at any time without prior notice to the customer. The customer will be charged the prices displayed on the Gunasthebrand.com website at the time the order was confirmed provided that the products are available at that time. The customer is required to pay for any order placed on theGunasthebrand.com website immediately upon confirmation.
We only accept payment by Paypal, credit charge and debit cards. All orders are payable in U.S. dollars. We accept the following credit, charge and debit cards: American express®, Mastercard®, Visa®, Discover. The customer's credit, charge or debit card will only be charged when their order is dispatched. If any of the products in the order are unavailable, GUNAS will only charge the price, taxes and shipping costs for the goods available.
Discount codes conditions vary. GUNAS reserves the right to alter this condition anytime. Promotions/discount codes cannot be applied to past or previous orders. They can only be applied to new orders. Please contact us for the validity of coupons.
Products ordered by customers will remain the property of GUNAS until GUNAS has received full payment there of. If there is any problem with payment, the customer is responsible to return the goods received to GUNAS immediately upon request. The customer accepts all risk for the goods (including loss, theft, or damage of any order) upon shipment.
The customer will be asked to select the shipping method as a part of the ordering procedure. Delivery costs depend on the value of the order and the delivery service chosen. Domestic orders will be delivered using USPS, UPS or FEDEX. International orders are shipped via DHL. Flat rate shipping charges apply to Domestic ground shipments of $14.95 per bag (plus insurance/tax). For Second-Third day charges are $34.95 and overnight shipping charges is a flat rate of $94.95. Flat rate shipping fee of $49.95 for one bag and $58.95 for 2 or more bags are applicable for all International orders (plus insurance if requested). International orders do not qualify for second day and overnight shipment. Please allow 7-14 business days for delivery. International buyers are responsible to pay all fees associated with importing goods into their home countries. International buyers are also responsible for providing correct delivery address during checkout. If a package is returned, or lost in transit, GUNAS is not liable and no refunds or replacements will be issued for the shipping fees and product. If the post office returns a package due to "Insufficient Address" the shipping fees will not be refunded. Buyer may contact the post office directly to file a claim for the shipping fees amount.
If an order qualified for free shipping but is returned by buyer, applicable (whether domestic or international postage) shipping fees will be applied to their balance and deducted from the refund before it is issued back to their original method of payment. Please be sure to track your package once tracking information has been updated in your account and follow up with your local post office for arrival estimates and confirmations.
Ground : The order will ship out in 2-3 business days and will be delivered within 5 to 7 business days from the shipment date.
Second day : The order must reach us by 11:00 am EST to ship out the same day. It will be delivered within 2 business days from the shipment date.
Overnight : The order must reach us by 11:00 am EST to ship out the same day. It will be delivered within 1-2 business day from the shipment date. Please note: Saturday is not counted as a "business day".
Guarantee / Warranty
We will exchange any full priced item within 90 days of their purchase should they break or get damaged with normal use. GUNAS does not take responsibility for the general wear and tear of its products. If your GUNAS bag falls short of your expectation in the first 90 days of its purchase please send us an email with photos of defects to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will do our best to work with you up to your satisfaction, however replacements will me made solely at our discretion. Should the item still be available we will offer you a replacement. If the item you purchased is out of stock, you have the option to select a different color. Shipping fees must be paid for all replacements. If the item is out of stock we will furnish you with a store credit or gift card for your equivalent purchase value. Please be sure to provide us with your purchase order and order confirmation email. Absolutely no replacements will be shipped after the 90 day period. In case of disputes, GUNAS will offer up to $20.00 in repair charges only. Receipt for all reimbursements is required.
If you are unhappy with your purchase (or receive a defective item) and request a replacement please be sure to hold on to the first bag. In case you decide to also return the replacement bag, you will be required to return both the bags (Defective & replacement piece). You may donate the defective piece ONLY if/after you decide to keep the replacement bag we ship to you. Unless both the pieces are returned, GUNAS holds the right to withhold the funds and refuse a refund. Please do not ship back the item to us without sending us an email documenting the defect. Please send pictures to validate the defects and we will ship a return shipping label to you. If you ship back the item without informing us, under no circumstances will the shipping fees be reimbursed. We DO NOT offer replacements for clearance items. If there is a problem with a clearance item we will issue a $30 store credit within the 30 day purchase period only. Minor scratches, marks and imperfections do not qualify as defects on clearance items. No returns will be accepted on these grounds.
*** Please note that these are handmade, soft goods and minor scratches on the surface due to friction in storage and transit are normal. We do not consider these as defects. The edges on the handbags are hand painted and small stains can be cleaned with a drop of nail enamel remover.
All handbags and shoes must be returned in original packaging with tags/barcodes/boxes in an unused condition. Any signs of wear and tear that makes the merchandise not sale-able will be considered final sale and will be returned to buyer at buyers expense. No exceptions. Please be sure not to wear perfume, cosmetics or anything that might stain when trying on products. Failure to follow our returns/exchange procedure will result in a $5.00 fee to cover our labour charge for handling the return/exchange. All returned items will be charged a return fee per item as per our return policy.
It is the customer's responsibility to provide the correct shipping address while placing the order. Once your package has been shipped by our fulfilment center, no changes can be made. You must call the post office or the courier company used to ship your package to arrange and address update. Gunas company or any of its employees will not be responsible for lost packages due to negligence on customers part. No complimentary replacements will be shipped in this case. In the event the package gets misplaced or lost due to an error at our end, we will ship a replacement at no additional cost to the customer.
NOTE: During the holiday season chances of misplaced and lost packages are higher so we advise customers to continue tracking their packages once the tracking number is made available. Please reach out to your local post office and neighbors first if your package is lost even when the tracking shows as "delivered". We do not purchase insurance on our packages and will resolve the situation in the best ethical manner.
Absolutely no refunds on product or shipping fees will be made under the following circumstances:
1) Customer fails to return the purchase within our return window.
2) Customer fails to return the product with tags and in an unused condition and original packaging.
3) Customer refused to accept shipment due to unpaid duties/VAT levied by their home country.
4) Customer sends return at their own expense and the package gets lost or damaged in transit.
5) Package arrives late due to shipping company delays even though we shipped using the selected service paid for by the customer.
6) Package tracking shows as delivered but customer claims that it has not been received.
7) Customer refuses to pay for exchange shipping fees and demands a refund.
